About the job:

Our client is a Tier 1 Big 4 bank looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation program delivering key initiatives across AML and CTF.

This is a senior, hands-on project management role with a strong focus on Financial Crime risk, regulatory engagement, governance and enterprise frameworks.

You’ll work at an enterprise level to establish frameworks and governance that help the organisation meet and demonstrate compliance with regulatory obligations, before enabling divisional teams to embed and implement these requirements.


What you’ll do:

• Lead enterprise-level projects and initiatives across Financial Crime initiatives focused on AML and CTF
• Develop and establish enterprise governance frameworks that support regulatory compliance.
• Translate regulatory obligations into practical frameworks, processes and delivery approaches.
• Provide clear governance, reporting and oversight across enterprise-level initiatives.
• Work closely with Financial Crime SMEs to understand obligations and define what good looks like.
• Facilitate collaborative design workshops to bring SMEs and business areas together and develop consistent approaches.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure teams are aligned rather than working in isolation.
• Develop enterprise-level frameworks and approaches before transitioning them to divisional teams for implementation.
• Work across different business areas and operating models, adapting your approach to suit the environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience across Financial Crime, AML and/or CTF.
• Strong understanding of Financial Crime risk, regulatory obligations and what good looks like within a banking environment.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-level transformation programs.
• Experience developing governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at executive level.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach - comfortable getting into the detail and driving delivery rather than remaining purely theoretical.
