A well-established financial planning and accounting business is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing advice team. With a rapidly expanding client base, this is an opportunity to play a key role in improving clients lives and supporting the delivery of high-quality, tailored financial plans.
The business is seeking an onshore, full-time employee who can become a genuine long-term member of the team—not a contractor or outsourced resource. The role will be fully remote.

You will take ownership of completing high-quality strategy modelling and advice, and compliant Statements of Advice and related advice documentation. This is not a high-volume, cookie-cutter paraplanning role. You will work closely with the principal adviser (one of four advisers) and alongside existing paraplanning support, on detailed and strategic client advice.

The opportunity
You will take ownership of completing high-quality strategy modelling and advice, and compliant Statements of Advice and related advice documentation. You will work closely with the principal adviser (one of four advisers) and alongside existing paraplanning support, on detailed and strategic client advice.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, compliant and client-ready SOAs, ROAs and supporting advice documentation.
- Conduct research, financial modelling and strategy analysis in collaboration with the adviser recommendations.
- Work closely with the principal adviser, other paraplanners and client-service staff
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of financial-planning products, legislation and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve paraplanning processes, quality and turnaround times.
- Manage your core activities using a well structured xplan and document management in Sharepoint
- Three to five years’ paraplanning experience within Australian financial planning.
- Proven capability completing strategy and preparing complex, tailored SOAs
- Strong knowledge of advice construction, compliance and financial-planning strategy.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment while communicating clearly via teams with a close-knit team.
- Full-time, permanent employment; this is not a contract role.
