Interim Registered Manager Location: Maidenhead Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Are you an experienced Interim Registered Manager who excels at bringing stability, inspiring teams, and driving positive change? We’re recruiting on behalf of an established residential care provider seeking a compassionate and confident leader to oversee a residential care home during an interim period. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys stepping into services, building strong relationships quickly, and ensuring residents continue to receive exceptional, person-centred care. The Role As Interim Registered Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership while maintaining high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. You will work closely with colleagues to embed best practice, support staff, and create a positive environment where residents, families, and employees feel valued. Key Responsibilities Provide immediate leadership and operational oversight of the home. Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and best practice. Lead, motivate, and support the existing team through a period of transition. Ensure consistently high standards of safe, compassionate, person-centred care. Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement sustainable solutions. Monitor quality assurance, audits, governance, and safeguarding practices. Support recruitment, staff development, supervision, and performance management where required. Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders. Ensure effective occupancy, resource management, and operational performance. Prepare the service for regulatory inspections where appropriate and promote a culture of continuous improvement. About You Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Interim Registered Manager within elderly residential care. Demonstrable success leading services through change, improvement, or transition. Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation. Calm, resilient, and confident with the ability to build trust quickly. Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
