Shift Structure & Pay
• Rotating roster (2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons, 2 weeks nights)
• $54.00 per hour base rate + 15 & 30% shift loading
• GUARANTEED OVERTIME
• Base salary (40hrs) $129k + super
• Salary with weekday OT (50hrs): $171k + super
• Salary with additional alternating weekend OT (58hrs) $200k + super
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and fault finding on sophisticated automated material handling and robotic systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Electrical fault finding across automated and PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)
• Working with sensors including photoelectric, proximity and encoders
• Fault finding on motors, VSDs and electrical drive systems
• Diagnosing faults via PLC interfaces and control systems
• Working on control panels, relays and safety circuits
• Maintaining conveyor and sortation system controls
• Breakdown response, preventative maintenance and electrical upgrades
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
• Trade qualified Electrician (Certificate III Electrotechnology)
• Experience within industrial automation or automated manufacturing environments
• PLC fault-finding experience
