The Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to appoint a People Systems Lead. This role will take ownership of the organisation’s HR technology environment, with a clear focus on optimising and consolidating systems into Dayforce as the primary platform.
This is a key position within the People function, working closely with Payroll, Finance and Technology teams to ensure systems are efficient, compliant and aligned to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise core HR systems
- Lead system upgrades, releases, configuration and testing cycles
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy and governance across all People systems
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to align remuneration, compliance and reporting
- Support system-related compliance requirements, including awards and legislation
- Lead data migration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation activities
- Develop reporting capability, dashboards and workforce analytics
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR systems queries and improvements
- Maintain system documentation, processes and audit trails
About You
- Demonstrated experience working with Dayforce (essential)
- Background in HRIS, People Systems or HR Operations roles
- Experience managing or supporting system upgrades, configuration and optimisation
- Understanding of Australian payroll, employment legislation and compliance frameworks
- Strong data analysis and reporting capability
- Experience supporting system implementations, integrations or migrations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes independently
