Production Associate (Contract)

Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Victor, NY

Summary: This General Production/Assembler position is a short-term contract expected to last several weeks. The role involves carrying out basic one- and two-step production tasks, including assembly, insertion and sealing, measuring and cutting materials, and other related duties. No interview is required, allowing for a quick start. It's a great opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience and skill development in a manufacturing environment.

Shift:

• 7:30 AM - 4 PM, Mon. - Fri.

Pay:

• $17.50 an Hour (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute production tasks following established guidelines and specifications.
• Perform assembly, insertion, sealing, pulling to length, and cutting.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor or Crew Leader and ask for clarification as needed.
• Inspect products to ensure high quality and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with co-workers and management to maintain efficient production.
• Continuously improve proficiency in work methods and material handling techniques.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic converting equipment and tools as required.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

• Stable work history or relevant educational experience.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the work shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Capable of lifting and moving materials up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
