Material Handler – 3rd Shift

Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
$20.00–$20.50/hour $1.50 Shift Differential
Total Pay: $21.50–$22.00/hour

We are currently hiring for a 3rd Shift Material Handler for a busy manufacturing facility in Shelton, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong material handling experience in a manufacturing environment who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting both warehouse and production operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience moving materials throughout production, loading materials into machines, supporting machine operators, and maintaining accurate inventory records within a computer system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Move, load, and stage raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Supply production lines with the materials needed to maintain workflow and efficiency
• Load materials into machines and support basic machine operation as needed
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (if certified)
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete data entry for material movement within the system
• Track and document materials to ensure inventory accuracy
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support daily operations

Qualifications:

• Prior material handling experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Experience loading materials into machines or supporting production equipment strongly preferred
• Basic machine operating experience preferred
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Strong computer and data entry skills for inventory tracking and material movement
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and attendance
• Ability to work independently and stay productive on overnight shift
