If you love owning a Salesforce platform end-to-end - configuring it, fixing it, training people on it, and being the person everyone turns to when something breaks - this role is built for you.
Our client is a well-established membership organisation, and they're looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to step in, take full ownership of the platform, and become the internal go-to for a busy, people-facing organisation.
This role requires genuine back-end Salesforce administration experience, rather than end-user or front-line CRM use. You'll be configuring objects, fields, page layouts and validation rules; managing users, profiles and permissions; building flow automations; and creating reports and dashboards on request for teams across the business. You'll set up and manage Opportunities and pricing for membership renewals and event payments, and you'll own the integration between Salesforce, Mailchimp and Form Assembly - making sure campaign and event data stays accurate across all three, since they don't sync automatically. Monthly, you'll run a full data clean-up: exporting, cleansing, de-duplicating and archiving records.
You'll also be responsible for staying across Salesforce release notes, working out what's noise and what needs action, and raising the right tickets with the external support provider when something's beyond in-house fix. And when staff across the organisation have a Salesforce question, they'll come to you first.
What you'll bring:
- Solid, hands-on Salesforce administration experience — not just front-end/sales use
- Confidence building and customising objects, fields, permissions and validation rules
- Experience with Opportunities, products and pricing setup
- Report and dashboard building for varied stakeholders
- Experience managing an integration with a second platform (marketing automation or forms tools)
- An open, adaptable approach, with a willingness to support the wider team with general administrative needs, including scheduling for our field-based Membership Managers
- A methodical, service-minded approach — you enjoy supporting people, not just systems
- Salesforce Administrator certification, highly regarded
- Membership, association or NFP sector experience - a bonus, not essential
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a genuine handover from the outgoing team member, so candidates who are immediately available or on short notice would be preferred.
