Electronics Engineer

Overview:

This role will take responsibility to support customer for Electronics system definition, engineering development and testing requirements.

Job Description:

The candidate will report to Engineering manager in Japan and will work on a challenging environment supporting all product phases from design concept to launching in close contact with customer and global team to ensure the project success.

The candidate will spend most of his/her time working side by side with OEM engineering team and based in OEM development center. These are some tasks the candidate will have to support:

1. Work with a big and global development engineering team and become the customer voice.

2. Attend regular project follow up meetings.

3. Attend tests with customer during project DV and PV phase.

4. Have a proactive approach with customer for technical information discussion.

5. Support new business and RFQ process.

6. Translate customer requirements into internal engineering electrical, functional and performance requirements.

7. Assist developing customer technical specification.

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree, major in Automation, Computer/Software, or Electronics /Electrical engineering.

2. Good understanding of vehicle E/E system and product development and launch phases.

3. Minimum 2 years of electronics (HW/SW) design engineering experience. System engineering or requirement engineering in automotive or high-power industry. It will be highly valued any experience working with OEM.

4. Language skills: Japanese - Fluent / Native, English TOEIC 600 or similar. Other languages will be valued.

5. SW development tools/processes/methodologies like Agile, JIRA, etc. understanding will be valued.
