Factory General Manager (Mainland China)

About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established, listed manufacturing group to appoint a Factory General Manager to oversee multi-site operations and drive transformation in South China.

This is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence, transformation initiatives, and overall plant performance across key production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-site Operations Management
  Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning, logistics, and plant performance across multiple sites

• Operational Excellence & Transformation
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, automation, and digitalisation (Industry 4.0) to enhance efficiency, cost, and output quality

• Stakeholder & Cross-border Alignment
  Collaborate closely with regional/global leadership to ensure governance, reporting standards, and strategic alignment

• People Leadership & Culture
  Build and develop high-performing teams, strengthen leadership bench, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration

• P&L Ownership & Compliance
  Take full ownership of budgeting, cost control, and ensure compliance with EHS, labour, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain within Mainland China
• Proven track record in driving transformation initiatives (e.g. automation, lean, digitalisation)
• Strong experience managing multiple manufacturing sites
• Familiarity with Greater Bay Area operations is highly preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese; English proficiency is an advantage
• Willing to be stationed in Mainland China with frequent inter-plant travel

• 跨境协同：促进内地工厂与香港总部之间的顺畅沟通，并统一合规与汇报标准。

• 损益与合规负责：负责经营绩效、预算与成本管控，并确保严格遵守当地安全、环保与劳动法规。

任职资格：

• 经验：10年以上在内地大型制造、供应链或运营领域的逐步晋升管理经验（有大湾区经验优先）；具包装、印刷或高精度自动化行业背景者更佳。
• 思维：具备成功推动数字化转型、自动化流程或精益改善的可验证业绩。
• 沟通：普通话与粤语流利；具备英语能力者在董事会层面及总部汇报中更有优势。
• 驻厂：可长期驻内地，并能在各工厂之间有效分配驻场时间。
