Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Co. Offaly, Ireland
Starting Salary: €80,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Co. Offaly.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and senior management to ensure effective cost control, contractual compliance and strong commercial performance across projects.

The Role:

  • Lead the commercial and financial management of construction projects from tender through to final account.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, valuations, variations and financial reporting.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiations and final accounts.
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify commercial risks and maximise project value.

Location & Working Arrangements:

The role will be primarily office-based in Co. Offaly, with site visits generally required one to two days per week, depending on the stage and requirements of the project.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • At leat 5 year's relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing construction projects independently.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
