Press Machine Operator – 2nd or 3rd Shift
Must train on 1st Shift up to 4 months
Shift Options:

  • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 9:15 PM – 5:15 AM

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, the Press Machine Operator:

  • Operates progressive stamping press machines
  • Uses auxiliary equipment including overhead cranes and tool & die equipment
  • Produces pre-assembly parts for the production line
  • Performs machine setup and adjustments
  • Maintains quality and production standards

Typical Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press machines with minimal supervision
  • Change over equipment as needed
  • Inspect dies and parts for defects
  • Perform quality checks and measurements
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain production quality
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards

Skills & Experience Preferred

  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience
  • Press operation or stamping experience preferred
  • Tool & die knowledge helpful
  • Ability to read measurements and inspect parts
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards
