Production Material Handler

A growing manufacturing company in Erie, PA is looking for a Production Material Handler to join their team on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the day and wants to be an important part of a manufacturing team. The Production Material Handler helps keep production running efficiently by moving materials and finished products throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Transport finished product from production areas to warehouse location

  • Supply production operators with boxes, pallets, and other necessary material

  • Move materials throughout the facility to support production needs

  • Palletize, organize, and prepare finished product for storage or shipment

  • Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

  • Strong attendance and reliability

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • $15/hr

  • 1st shift: Monday-Thurs either 6a-4:30p or 7:30a-6p

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Company benefits available after hire
