Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join their Rail team in Perth.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced rail professional looking to combine project delivery, client engagement and business development within a thriving infrastructure market.

Working alongside senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering major rail projects while strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to strategic pursuits. You will be instrumental in positioning the business for future work while ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to winning bid submissions and strategic pursuits for major rail opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor across project delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality rail infrastructure projects while balancing commercial, technical and client outcomes.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth within existing and emerging markets.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, industry forums and networking events.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, providing technical guidance and project oversight.
  • Mentor and support project teams while fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the Rail business through strategic leadership and market engagement.

About You

  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
  • Extensive experience delivering rail infrastructure projects.
  • Broad understanding of rail systems, operations and project delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and winning new work.
  • Experience preparing and leading competitive bid submissions.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance client, delivery and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership capabilities.
