Our client in Willoughby is searching for an experienced Ceramic Core Finisher

Are you a motivated and driven individual with experience in inspecting and finishing parts? Do you have an eye for detail and a steady hand?  We would love to hear from you! Our client offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities!

PAY RATE  starting at $17.00/hour
SHIFT - 1st shift, Mon-Fri 7am-300pm

What you need to have:
  • Strong fine motor skills with the ability to handle fragile parts
  • Use of precision handheld air grinder and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment 
What will you do:
  • Finish and repair ceramic hardware products and airfoils using handheld and free-standing equipment and tools
  • Visually inspect the product and identify defects
  • Maintain required documentation and paperwork
  • Produce quality ceramic cores, meeting production goals and quality requirements
  • Know and follow all company safety rules and regulations
  • Excellent attendance & dependability a must
  Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions is expected.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with grinders or doing ceramic finishing
  • Good hand eye coordination 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see fine details through magnifying lenses
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
