Our client is seeking a NZ Structural Engineering Lead to manage and mentor structural teams in Auckland and Wellington, delivering high-quality solutions on a variety of high-profile building projects and the chance to make a real impact on New Zealand’s built environment.
Your role:
- Lead and mentor structural engineering teams, fostering professional growth
- Deliver high-quality design and technical solutions across varied projects
- Develop and grow client relationships, building trust and long-term partnerships
- Drive business development opportunities for the structural team
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for timely project delivery
- Provide guidance on complex engineering challenges, promoting innovation and best practice
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with a Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in structural design and project management, preferably in a consultancy environment
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Track record in business development and client relationship management
