Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, optimisation, and support of enterprise applications and data solutions.

Working within a collaborative technology team, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, integrating complex data environments, and delivering high-quality cloud-native solutions. This role offers exposure to modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development tools, and large-scale cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance scalable applications, APIs and data solutions.
• Develop cloud-native systems that are secure, reliable and high performing.
• Deliver data integration and automation initiatives across multiple platforms.
• Champion engineering best practices, code quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Support and mentor team members while contributing to a high-performing engineering culture.

 
Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in backend software engineering using Python.
• Strong API development, systems integration and cloud architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and modern engineering practices.
• Solid database, SQL and data pipeline development skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD delivery practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
