I am currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join a well-established Australian construction and infrastructure business with a strong track record delivering major projects across Queensland and regional Australia.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, initially working on a 12-month project in the Western Downs area, constructing a new workers' camp on a 10/4 or 5/2 DIDO roster.
Following completion, you will transition onto Brisbane-based projects, providing genuine long-term career stability and progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors and senior management to drive positive safety outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and project requirements.
- Provide practical safety advice across construction activities and high-risk works.
- Build strong relationships with site teams and subcontractors.
- Proactively identify hazards and support the project team in implementing effective controls.
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor
- Previous experience across commercial, civil, infrastructure, resources or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and contractor engagement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety.
- Comfortable working in a regional environment and on a DIDO roster.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider project team.
- Available for an ASAP start.
- $180,000 TRP + project uplift.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- DIDO roster – 10/4 or 5/2, with travel in company time.
