- Conduct thorough site inspections, document legislative findings, manage property abatements and effectively execute all aspects of parking control
- Exercise delegated authorities strictly in accordance with Council policies, relevant Acts, regulations and legal precedents
- Provide high-quality administrative backing for planning and compliance functions, ensuring accurate records and routine correspondence are maintained
- Assist in reviewing and improving internal Council systems to create more user-friendly digital processes
- Proven proficiency in applying standardised procedures, legislative Acts, regulations, and understanding organizational goals within a public or structured corporate framework
- Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to gain cooperation and assistance from members of the public, clients and internal teams
- Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to self-manage, plan tasks at least a week in advance, and adapt methods to achieve well-defined objectives
- A basic understanding of personnel practices with the capacity to provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to colleagues
