RTW & Training Co-ordinator

The Return to Work (RTW) & Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating workplace rehabilitation, injury management and return to work programs, while also overseeing workforce training, compliance and employee development initiatives. This role works closely with employees, supervisors, and external providers to ensure employees are supported in a RTW capacity, compliant and have the skills required to perform their roles safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities Return to Work

• Coordinate return to work plans for injured employees.
• Liaise with workers, managers, medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers, and insurers.
• Monitor recovery progress and suitable duties programs.
• Maintain accurate injury management documentation and records.
• Support compliance with workers compensation and rehabilitation requirements.

Training & Compliance

• Coordinate employee inductions, mandatory training, and compliance programs.
• Maintain training records, licences, and certification registers.
• Schedule internal and external training activities.
• Liaise with training providers and RTOs.
• Identify workforce development and training needs.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide advice and support to employees and managers.
• Maintain training and RTW reporting requirements.
• Contribute to workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in return to work, injury management, training coordination, HR, or workforce administration.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles.
• Current driver's licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• Return to Work Coordinator accreditation.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
