Seasonal Sourcing Specialist

Hong Kong

A leading international sourcing organization is expanding its sourcing team and is looking for sourcing and merchandising professionals to support the Home and Seasonal categories.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from buying offices, sourcing offices, international retailers, and trading companies who are passionate about product sourcing, supplier development, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities across Home, Seasonal and General Merchandise categories.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers across Asia to support business growth and product diversification.
  • Conduct market research, trend analysis and competitive benchmarking.
  • Work closely with overseas buying teams and internal stakeholders on product development initiatives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and support vendor performance improvement.
  • Coordinate product development, quotations, costing, sampling, testing and order execution.
  • Monitor production schedules, shipment progress and critical path activities.
  • Participate in supplier visits, factory evaluations, trade fairs and sourcing trips when required.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with company quality, compliance and social responsibility requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree holder preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, buying office or product development.
  • Experience in one or more of the following categories:
    • Homeware
    • Kitchenware
    • Seasonal Products
    • Gifts & General Merchandise
    • Household Products
    • Furniture
    • Toys
  • Strong supplier management and product sourcing experience.
  • Proven experience in product development, costing and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English is required. Chinese language skills are highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
