Programme Manager (Business)

We’re working with an organisation delivering a significant transformation programme that will support major change across services, operations and stakeholder groups.

They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager who can step into a complex environment, quickly understand the current state, bring structure and momentum, and lead multiple workstreams through to delivery. This is a high-profile role suited to someone who is comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and delivery discipline are key.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a complex transformation programme across multiple workstreams.
• Assess programme status, risks, gaps and key delivery priorities.
• Provide clear direction, structure and accountability across the team.
• Manage planning, governance, reporting, risks, issues and change control.
• Engage senior stakeholders with clear updates and recommendations.
• Lead Project Managers and workstream leads to drive delivery outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
• Support financial, commercial and supplier activity where required.

Key Requirements:

• Senior Programme Manager experience across complex transformation environments.
• Proven ability to lead programmes through change, reset or recovery phases.
• Strong experience managing workstreams, dependencies, risks and senior stakeholders.
• Background in business integration, organisational change or large-scale transformation.
• Confident leading Project Managers and workstream leads.
• Strong governance, risk, change and reporting experience.
• Calm and decisive in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
