Material Handler

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for production and shipment. This role supports warehouse and production operations by ensuring materials are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Must have the ability to measure materials accurately down to 1/16 of an inch.

• Select and prepare foam products according to customer orders and production requirements.

• Pack foam products into appropriate containers or bags for storage or shipment.

• Ensure all materials and packages are properly labeled with order numbers, quantities, and destination information.

• Inspect materials and finished products for damage or defects and verify they meet quality standards.

• Move materials throughout the warehouse or production area using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when required.

• Pull and stage materials based on work orders or customer requests using order processing systems.

• Assist with preparing foam materials for packaging, which may include cutting, shaping, or modifying foam to required specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment is preferred but not required.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures is a plus.
