The role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
CPA/CA qualified, or close to completion
Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively across the business
An experienced Assistant Accountant ready to step up, or a recently promoted Financial Accountant from a medium to large business

The role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Full responsibility for month-end reporting
- Analysis and interpretation of company performance, including in-depth analysis of clinical performance
- Establishing, implementing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Preparation of financial statements
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Liaising with external accountants, tax advisers and auditors
- Playing a key role in the annual audit and half-year audit review
- Managing compliance requirements across superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc.
- Consolidating monthly results with commentary and analysis of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget/forecast
