A growing services company is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Officer to join their fantastic finance team. This company is a growing player in their field with a great work culture. They want to offer this amazing opportunity to a motivated Payroll and Accounts Officer.
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Own the finance administration function across payroll, accounts payable and purchasing activities
- Process weekly payroll, maintain employee records, manage timesheets and ensure all payroll obligations are met
- Coordinate supplier invoices, payment runs and reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial data in Xero
- Develop and oversee purchase order processes, approvals and cost tracking across multiple projects
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external accountants to ensure accurate, timely financial operations
- Experience in a stand alone payroll capacity (approx 60 employees)
- Confidence in Xero payroll
- Own car and drivers licence (this role is not accessible by public transport)
