Assembly Process Engineer

Role:

• Production efficiency for APU specific metier or Product efficiency for New Product Development specific metier
• To lead the industrialisation of the new P1
• Capitalise and share the know-how of industrial processes in his/her domain
• Participate in the design of new equipment and new line
• Lead lean design workshop

Responsibilities:

• Industrialisation (mainstream for New Product Industrialisation)
  • To manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
  • To follow equipment development with the supplier
  • To design specific tools and validate supplier’s proposal
  • To define acceptance criteria for new equipment
  • To perform pre-acceptance and acceptance of the equipment
  • To perform trials on the equipment and deliver reports
  • To build action plans and follow-up to be ready for FDPR
  • To perform and/or collect capabilities of equipment and process
  • To set up equipment and propose Process Validation Plan
  • To participate in PFMEA and Control Plan
• Mass production (mainstream for APU)
  • To monitor QCDM and propose improvements
  • To survey equipment’s performances and always have optimisation in mind
  • To work on cycle time reduction to optimize investment, material and labor cost
  • To update routing on information system with SPV validation
  • To support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving)
  • To be in contact with suppliers (improvement, support)
  • To participate in SPV workshop
  • To participate in APU QRQC
• Standardisation
  • Validate PG Raise and Specifications standards, which are created by Standard Owners
  • Validate any standard evolution proposed by sites
  • Know, apply and promote standards (PG, sites or corporate) in his/her domain
  • Apply the SPV rules
• Environment
  • Ensure respect for the Company's Safety and Environment procedures
  • Maintain 5S and report issues
  • Alert for safety rules infringement

Requirements

• University graduate or equivalent
• Japanese and English (business)
• 3-5 years of experience in his/her domain of knowledge (process and industrialization)
• Mainly equipment, inspection equipment, and SMT process. In particular, we need someone who is familiar with inspection equipment, PLC and Lavoview.
