Our client is a highly regarded and market-leading services group based in the Brisbane CBD. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their Finance team in a busy and fast-paced environment, to support for 3 weeks for a holiday cover.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable function.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable function.
The Role
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
- Processing high volume invoices with strong attention to detail
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing weekly payment runs
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Assisting with process improvements within the AP function
- Ideally 1–4 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to get through high volumes
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Highly organised, proactive and able to meet deadlines
