The role
Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:
- Managing daily restaurant operations and service delivery
- Leading, rostering and training front-of-house staff
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation
- Managing reservations, enquiries and guest feedback
- Coordinating service with the kitchen team
- Monitoring labour costs, stock and operating expenses
- Managing orders and supplier relationships
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Identifying practical ways to improve service and business performance
About you
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable management role
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Experience with rostering, cost control and daily operations
- Clear communication and strong organisational skills
- Relevant hospitality or management qualifications highly regarded
- Relevant venue licences or certifications, or willingness to obtain them before undertaking the applicable duties
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to live and work in regional Australia
