Locations across Australia include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and Darwin.

We recruit for employers across the heavy transport sector, including truck dealerships, bus and coach operators, and commercial vehicle fleet maintenance businesses.

The roles

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems across trucks, buses and coaches
  • Completing electrical diagnostics, fault-finding and breakdown repairs
  • Diagnosing faults in wiring, ECUs, lighting, alternators and starter motors, and carrying out appropriate repairs or replacements
  • Installing and maintaining vehicle electrical components and accessories
  • Performing preventative electrical maintenance across heavy transport fleets
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle air-conditioning systems, where qualified
  • Maintaining accurate job cards and service records


About you

  • Australian Auto Electrical trade qualification or equivalent international qualification
  • For UK and Irish applicants: a relevant City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI or equivalent qualification in automotive electrical work
  • Relevant post-apprenticeship experience
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on trucks, buses, coaches or other heavy commercial vehicles
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Air-conditioning experience, with an ARCtick licence highly regarded
