ICAM Lead

Our client currently seeking an experienced ICAM Lead to guide architecture and oversee the delivery of sophisticated identity, access management, and credential platforms. This is a vital leadership role offering a permanent employment opportunity, based remotely with flexibility to work across various locations as required.

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Own and oversee the overall end-to-end architecture and delivery outcomes for identity and access management solutions, including governance, authentication, authorisation, privileged access, and cryptographic services.
• Define and govern the target state architecture for ICAM, ensuring integration patterns and cross-platform consistency align with business and regulatory standards.
• Act as the primary technical authority for ICAM initiatives, supporting workshops, design decisions, and engaging with executive stakeholders.
• Provide architectural guidance and oversight to delivery teams working across identity governance, authentication, privileged access, and policy-based authorisation.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintain high quality, managing technical risks and dependencies.
• Support delivery planning, prioritisation, and sequencing of ICAM initiatives, contributing to governance artefacts, documentation, and quality assurance.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Over 10 years of experience in identity, access management, or security architecture roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale ICAM programs or portfolios in complex environments.
• Strong expertise across multiple IAM disciplines, including identity governance, privileged access management, and authentication/authorisation.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior client stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes.
• Strong architectural judgment with a pragmatic approach to delivery and problem-solving.

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience working with enterprise-wide security architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in engaging executive and technical audiences.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
