National Business Manager, Grocery

A senior leadership role with a global Consumer Health business, owning the Grocery, Independent Grocery and eCommerce channels and the growth behind them.

You'll set the direction across all three channels and carry the commercial performance, leading the growth strategies that move sales, profitability, market share and category position. Annual planning, forecasting and performance management sit with you, along with the customer growth plans, joint business planning and commercial agreements you'll negotiate with major retailers, independent groups and eCommerce partners. Much of it is done through influence, bringing customer teams together and working across Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain to get priorities delivered. Category and shopper insight is your starting point for where pricing, promotional investment, assortment and trade spend go to earn the best return.

We're keen to hear from people coming across from a competitor or elsewhere in FMCG. You'll have five or more years managing major customers, channels or commercial portfolios, with a clear record of building growth strategies that landed. A strong grasp of trade investment, profitability, gross-to-net and ROI matters, along with real depth in grocery retail and category management, and you'll be at ease reading data through platforms like Circana, Nielsen, Quantium or Power BI. You'll also have led well inside a matrix, influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment.
