Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager owns the partnership with one of Australia's two major grocery retailers. It's a genuinely commercial, reporting to the National Business Manager, Grocery. You'll set the growth agenda, shape the investment strategy, and build the relationships that make it all happen.

Day to day, you'll own the annual customer growth plan and deliver on sales, profit, market share and investment targets. That means leading the forecasting, joint business planning and commercial reviews, managing trade investment and profitability, and applying Revenue Growth Management principles to sharpen ROI. You'll spot new growth through customer, category and shopper insights, and work across Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply Chain and Trade Activation to get it executed well.

This one suits people currently in FMCG or Consumer Health account management, or coming across from a competitor. You'll have at least 3 years managing customer accounts, ideally with major retailers or banner groups, plus strong commercial acumen across trade investment and promotional effectiveness. You're analytical, comfortable turning data into action, and hands-on with tools like Circana/IRI, Nielsen, Quantium or Power BI. Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder skills round it out.
