This Hawke’s Bay based leadership opportunity combines commercial, financial, and risk management – all with a view to managing and further developing our clients’ significant portfolio. This portfolio spans product and IP that has significant market penetration globally, and locally. You will be responsible for providing forward looking commercial and financial insight to support performance, value creation and strategic decision making across the portfolio that is set for real expansion.
This role reports to a divisional GM, and has a dotted line to the Global CFO. You will act as the commercial and financial right hand to your GM, and will stand to impact and influence future strategy, growth, and direction for the company which has projections of significant growth from an already well-established strong base.
This will be suited to an experienced finance and commercial leader. There will be aspects of month-end reporting at the core of this role, so accounting knowledge is a given. A CA qualification would advantageous although not essential. You will be someone who demonstrates expertise in financial modelling, return analysis, and risk management for growth initiatives.

A commercial mindset and ability to guide commercial partnering that supports operational and equity investments must feel natural. Your remit includes ensuring robust controls, asset protection, accurate reporting, and developing sound business decisions to enhance their operational performance.
