Education & Relationship Manager – Veterinary & Pet Industry

£45,000–£50,000 DOE plus benefits

We’re recruiting an Education & Relationship Manager for an established business operating across the veterinary and pet industries.

This is a varied, field-based role combining account management, commercial growth and customer education. You’ll develop relationships with veterinary practices and pet retailers across the UK, helping customers get more from the company’s products through tailored training, technical support and practical commercial advice.

You won’t simply be visiting customers to sell. You’ll become a trusted point of contact: understanding each account, identifying opportunities and delivering education that improves product knowledge, strengthens customer confidence and supports long-term growth.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with veterinary practices, pet retailers and other industry customers
• Planning and managing an effective territory call cycle
• Delivering engaging in-practice and in-store training, product demonstrations and presentations
• Helping customers understand the company’s products, their applications and the benefits they offer
• Responding to product and technical enquiries with accurate, evidence-based guidance
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through education, range development and promotional activity
• Supporting product launches, educational programmes and customer engagement initiatives
• Representing the business at veterinary conferences, trade exhibitions and industry events
• Working closely with the commercial, technical, regulatory and marketing teams
• Maintaining accurate customer records, visit reports, call plans and commercial forecasts

What we’re looking for You’ll be a confident relationship builder who is equally comfortable discussing commercial opportunities and delivering education to a professional audience.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience in sales, account management, relationship management or customer education
• A background within veterinary, animal health, pet care, healthcare or a related industry
• Experience working with veterinary practices or practice teams, which would be particularly valuable
• Confidence delivering training, presentations or product education
• Strong territory planning, organisation and time-management skills
• A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team
• A relevant degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Business, Marketing or a related subject would be advantageous
• A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the territory
