Safety Co-Ordinator

- Around 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Experience conducting jobsite inspections, audits and hazard assessments
- Ability to identify unsafe conditions and implement practical corrective actions
- Experience supporting incident and near miss investigations
- Experience delivering safety orientations, toolbox talks and employee training
- Strong communication skills with field employees, supervisors and senior management
- Previous construction trade, field supervision or operations experience is highly desirable
- OSHA 30 required within 6 months if not already held
- OSHA 510 required within 12 months
- Expected to pursue OSHA 500 once eligible
- First Aid/CPR/AED and additional construction safety certifications are preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to regularly travel between project sites
The role requires someone comfortable spending significant time in the field rather than operating purely from an office environment.
