What is the job?

• Lead the compliance team for a global healthcare company.
• Ensure all commercial and medical activities comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and medical leadership.
• Develop and lead a high-performing compliance team.

Key responsibilities

• Review and oversee promotional and educational activities.
• Provide compliance guidance on commercial and medical initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead governance committees and compliance review processes.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive a practical, business-focused compliance culture.

Requirements

Ideal background

• 10+ years' experience in Healthcare Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and industry codes.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Able to influence senior leaders and make sound, risk-based decisions.
• Fluent English required; Japanese healthcare industry experience highly preferred.
