Are you a sourcing professional with experience in home, household, kitchenware, seasonal or general merchandise products? Do you enjoy working closely with suppliers, product development teams and overseas buying offices?
We are partnering with a well-established international sourcing organization to identify a Japanese-speaking Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing and product development activities across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product sourcing and development activities for Home & Household categories
- Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers across Asia
- Work closely with overseas buying teams to drive product development and sourcing initiatives
- Conduct supplier visits, factory evaluations and market research
- Manage costing, price negotiations and supplier performance
- Monitor critical path, sample development and production progress
- Support trade fair visits and supplier sourcing activities
Requirements
- Degree holder preferred
- 3+ years of sourcing, merchandising or buying office experience
- Experience in Home, Household, Kitchenware, Furniture, Seasonal or General Merchandise products
- Strong supplier management and product development experience
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 preferred)
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
