Our client, a high-growth lifestyle F&B group, is looking for a Country Manager to spearhead their expansion in Southeast Asia. While operations are currently stable, we need a commercially astute "disruptor" to secure the next generation of sites and elevate the brand’s market presence.
The Mission
As the Country Manager, you will hold the keys to the P&L, moving beyond day-to-day management to focus on strategic growth and bottom-line optimization.
Strategic Expansion & Commercial Leasing:
- Business Development: Lead the hunt for unique locations, expanding the footprint from traditional commercial centers into high-potential residential clusters or creative pop-ups.
- Negotiate for Margin: Use your local network and negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms that protect profitability in the region’s real estate market.
Brand Elevation & Performance Marketing:
- Drive Top-Line Sales: Revitalize marketing strategies to move beyond basic brand awareness and actively drive footfall and daily sales.
- Lifestyle Identity: Position the brand as the "top-of-mind" everyday premium operator through driving high quality store experiences and local collaborations.
Operational & Financial Optimization:
- Bottom-Line Efficiency: Conduct deep-dives into the supply chain and financial workflows to strip out waste and drive margin expansion.
- Hands-on Leadership: Mentor a multi-functional team across Area Management, Marketing, and Finance to foster a culture of accountability.
The Ideal Profile
- F&B Heavyweight: Extensive experience in multi-outlet F&B operations, specifically within the Singapore or SEA landscape. Premium brand positioning with around 10-20 outlets will be ideal.
- Commercial Negotiator: A proven ability to navigate complex lease renewals and secure new store developments under tight margins.
- Marketing & Brand Savvy: You understand how to create a "vibe" that resonates with the modern SEA consumer while maintaining a premium identity.
- Financial Expert: Strong business acumen with a focus on P&L, purchasing, and supply chain optimization.
- Hands-on Leader: You are as comfortable in the boardroom as you are on the floor with your teams.
