Our client needs an experienced freight and export coordinator to cover a busy period. This is a temp assignment of roughly 4-6 weeks, based on-site in Bromley, paying $32~$34/ph
You'll be the go-to person keeping shipments moving and paperwork right the first time.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating domestic and international freight, from booking through to dispatch
- Preparing export documentation, including COOs, Export Declarations, commercial invoices and packing lists
- Getting freight quotes, selecting carriers and managing delays or issues
- Liaising with freight forwarders, transport providers and customs agents
- Keeping customers and internal teams updated on shipment status and stock movements
- Working with warehouse, production and dispatch on pick/pack and export readiness
- Maintaining freight records, spreadsheets and internal systems
- Proven export documentation experience. This one is non-negotiable; you'll need to have arranged COOs and EDs before
- Solid understanding of international freight and export compliance
- Confident communicator across suppliers, customers and internal teams
- Good systems and spreadsheet skills, with an eye for detail under time pressure
- Available to start immediately and see the assignment through
- Must be able to pass both a pre-employment drug test and police check
