Diesel Fitter | Luscombe | QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our civil client's fleet team, initially based in their workshop at Luscombe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join a busy fleet environment, with the opportunity to progress into a Field Service position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance across heavy civil plant and equipment.
• Perform mechanical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Complete scheduled maintenance in accordance with required standards.
• Carry out breakdown repairs efficiently and safely.
• Work across earthmoving equipment, crushers and screens, light vehicles and other ancillary plant.
• Identify mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all repairs, servicing and maintenance are completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workshop safety.
• Work collaboratively with the Fleet and Workshop teams to minimise equipment downtime.

Our Ideal Candidates:

• Previous experience servicing and repairing heavy plant and machinery.
• HD Trade Certificate
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
• Solid background working with heavy plant and mechanical systems.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Experience working with civil and earthmoving machinery
• Comfortable initially working in a workshop-based environment.
• Interested in progressing into a Field Service role following probation.
• Reliable, self-motivated and safety focused.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What's On Offer:

• Paying $55 - $60P/H
• Ongoing position with the opportunity to transition from temp to permanent.
• Monday–Friday hours.
• Workshop-based role in Luscombe.
• Opportunity to progress into Field Service after probation for the right candidate.
