Final Trim Excavator Operators | Gladstone | QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking experienced Final Trim Excavator Operators for ongoing mining projects in Gladstone, QLD.

We’re working with well-established contractors who require skilled operators who can hit the ground running. If you’re confident on the machine, experienced in final trim and GPS, and looking for ongoing local work in the Gladstone region, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate final trim graders and excavators safely and efficiently
• Complete final trim, stabilisation, and earthworks to project specifications
• Utilise GPS machine control systems to achieve accurate results
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
• Work collaboratively with site crews to meet project deadlines
• Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Read and interpret plans, levels, and project requirements
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating Excavators
• Strong Final Trim experience
• Experience using GPS machine control systems
• Previous civil construction and/or mining experience
• Current RII Excavator ticket
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew

What We Can Offer:

• $66.50+ per hour flat rate, pending experience
• 5 days on, 2 days off roster 
• Local Gladstone-based work
