QA/QC Manager

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Northern Territory. As their project pipeline continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with a strong background in drainage and civil infrastructure to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, and who enjoys working on complex civil construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, Australian Standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality surveillance throughout project delivery.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and construction records.
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards.
• Liaise with client representatives and consultants during inspections and project handovers.
• Support project teams in achieving quality objectives while maintaining project schedules.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, Senior QA/QC Engineer, or Quality Engineer within the civil construction sector.
• Strong experience on drainage, stormwater, sewer, pipeline, road, bridge, or major infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, quality management systems, and civil construction specifications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, quality documentation, and audit reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
