About the Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building cloud environments from code, automating deployment processes, improving platform reliability, and solving complex infrastructure challenges. You'll work across cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, security, and operational support, helping drive a modern cloud-first environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain infrastructure standards across environments.
- Design and enhance automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Monitor platform health, performance, security, and cloud spend.
- Support and troubleshoot production environments, including incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Partner with software engineering teams to streamline release and deployment processes.
- Strengthen cloud security through identity management, network controls, encryption, logging, and governance practices.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, platform upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
You'll be someone who enjoys working in cloud environments and has a strong automation mindset.
We're interested in candidates who have experience with:
- AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions or similar tooling.
- Linux server administration.
- Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Cloud networking concepts including DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.
- Production support, troubleshooting, and incident management.
- Git-based development workflows and source control practices.
- Cloud security and governance best practices.
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- AWS certifications.
- Docker and container-based platforms.
- Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
- Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Security and compliance frameworks.
- Enterprise application or database platforms.
- Hybrid cloud and identity integration technologies.
