Drive the future of AI-enabled enterprise transformation An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a high-profile Microsoft 365 and AI Enablement program focused on improving data governance, security, privacy, and organisational readiness for the adoption of AI-powered workplace technologies.
This initiative will address critical data hygiene and security requirements while establishing a scalable and compliant foundation for the safe use of Microsoft Copilot and future Generative AI solutions across a large and complex enterprise environment.

About the Role

As the Solutions Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across a strategic transformation program. Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise solutions that balance user experience, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies, governance frameworks, cyber security principles, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in guiding architectural decisions, supporting governance forums, and ensuring solutions are scalable for future AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end solution architectures covering Microsoft 365, Copilot, information governance, security controls, and compliance capabilities.
• Define architecture roadmaps and ensure alignment between business objectives, user experience, security requirements, and platform capabilities.
• Lead architectural decision-making, including technical trade-offs, risk assessments, and implementation sequencing.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to project leadership and governance bodies.
• Collaborate with technical teams, security specialists, project managers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise solutions.
• Ensure architecture designs align with organisational governance, privacy, compliance, and security frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks impacting project outcomes.
• Design scalable solutions that support the future expansion of AI and Generative AI capabilities.
• Mentor project team members and promote architecture best practices.

About You You are an experienced Solutions Architect with a successful track record delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft and cloud-based solutions. You excel in complex environments, can navigate ambiguity, and are comfortable working across both strategic and technical domains.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in large and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Identity and access management solutions
  • Security and compliance technologies
  • Cloud architecture and governance
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of information governance, privacy, security, and risk management principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to present architecture recommendations and risk assessments to senior leadership and governance groups.
• Experience working across multiple business and technology teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Highly Desirable

• Experience delivering Microsoft Copilot or Generative AI initiatives.
• Exposure to highly regulated industries such as healthcare, government, financial services, or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance and information management frameworks.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications and architecture qualifications.
