Data Migration Lead – Leading Enterprise Organisation
URGENT 2–3 month Contract opportunity

Sydney Base with hybrid work flexibility (3 days onsite and 2 days WFH)

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Lead with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience to support a critical enterprise transformation program. The role will focus on ensuring accurate, secure, and well-governed data migration from legacy Oracle systems to Fusion, reducing go-live risk and enabling a successful ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end data migration activities for a major ERP transformation from legacy Oracle On-Premise systems to Oracle Fusion.
• Define and execute data migration strategy, including planning, cutover approach, and coordination of migration cycles.
• Oversee data cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation across multiple business functions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate data migration risks and issues to reduce go-live risk and support operational readiness.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders while providing expert guidance on migration best practices, governance, and data integrity.
Key Requirements
• 10–12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Data Migration Lead, with 6–8 years of prior hands-on data migration experience.
• Proven expertise in leading end-to-end ERP data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Experience migrating data into Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Strong experience with General Ledger (GL) and financial data migrations.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Exposure to TM1 is a plus but not a deal breaker.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor data migration teams while remaining hands-on
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
