THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading provider of HVAC, building services and engineering solutions, supporting some of Ireland's most demanding industries including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, manufacturing, commercial buildings and data centres.

Due to continued growth within their service division, they are seeking an HVAC Technician to join their Cork-based team, supporting a growing customer portfolio across Munster.

THE ROLE:

The successful HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing chiller systems and associated HVAC plant across a range of customer sites.

Working within highly regulated and mission-critical environments, you will support preventative maintenance programmes, breakdown response and system optimisation activities while ensuring the highest levels of performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintaining chiller systems

• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC and cooling system faults

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities

• Working on associated pumps, motors, controls and mechanical plant

• Supporting commissioning and start-up activities

• Conducting equipment inspections and performance assessments

• Providing technical support and advice to customers

• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and site-specific procedures

• Maintaining high levels of equipment uptime across critical facilities

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within HVAC, refrigeration, building services, facilities management, pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• HVAC, Refrigeration or Mechanical trade qualification

• Experience servicing chillers and cooling equipment

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

• Experience working within commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial or critical environments

• Good knowledge of controls, pumps, motors and associated plant equipment

• Customer-facing experience

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently across a regional territory

• Full clean driving licence

• F-Gas certification would be advantageous

• Base Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 DOE

LOCATION:

Ideally based in Cork City, Carrigaline, Midleton, Cobh, Ballincollig, Mallow, Fermoy, Clonmel, Waterford or surrounding Munster locations.
