Field Service Engineer

Location: Dublin | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 DOE (Up to €60,000 for candidates with RGI) + Benefits

THE COMPANY:

A well-established technical services company providing installation, maintenance and repair services for commercial catering and kitchen equipment across Ireland.

With an excellent reputation built over many years, they work with a wide range of clients across hospitality, healthcare, education and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their Dublin team.


THE ROLE:

This is a field-based service role covering Dublin and surrounding counties. The majority of your work will involve planned preventative maintenance, with some fault-finding, repairs and occasional equipment installations.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial catering equipment
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs on customer sites
  • Service a wide range of gas and electrical catering equipment
  • Complete breakdown visits as required
  • Support equipment installations and commissioning when necessary
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the business
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards


THE PERSON:

This role will suit a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or trade-qualified professional looking for a varied and stable field-based position. An RGI qualification is highly desirable, but the company is open to candidates with strong electro-mechanical skills from a range of backgrounds.

  • RGI certification would be highly advantageous
  • Trade-qualified Electrician, Plumber, Refrigeration Engineer or similar
  • Experience carrying out service, maintenance or repair work
  • Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Good customer-facing and communication skills
  • Experience with commercial catering equipment is beneficial but not essential
  • Full driving licence required

LOCATION:
