THE COMPANY:

Our client is a well-established provider of electronic security and life safety solutions, supporting commercial, industrial and public sector customers throughout Ireland.

With a reputation for technical expertise and customer service, the company continues to secure new projects across CCTV, fire detection, intruder alarms and access control systems. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Security Engineer to their Munster team.

THE ROLE:

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of electronic security systems across customer sites throughout Limerick and Tipperary.

  • Install and commission CCTV, intruder alarm, fire alarm and access control systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work
  • Diagnose and repair faults across a range of security systems
  • Perform system testing and commissioning prior to handover
  • Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise directly with customers to ensure a high level of service
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
  • Provide technical support and advice where required

THE PERSON:

This role will suit a Security Engineer, Service Engineer, Installation Engineer or Electronic Security Engineer with experience working on CCTV, fire alarm, access control or intruder alarm systems.

  • Experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarm and/or intruder alarm systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ideally based in Limerick or Tipperary
