THE ROLE:

This Quality Engineer role offers broad exposure across quality assurance, quality control, compliance and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with manufacturing, procurement and engineering teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and improve quality management systems across the business
• Review inspection reports and investigate quality issues
• Implement CAPA processes and track corrective actions through to completion
• Support production teams in resolving quality-related concerns
• Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to improve supplier quality performance
• Monitor compliance with CE, ISO and other relevant certification standards
• Support internal and external audits
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes

THE PERSON:

This role would suit a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer or Quality Coordinator looking to broaden their experience and progress within a manufacturing environment. The company is open on industry background and will consider candidates from a range of engineering and manufacturing sectors.

• Experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer, Quality Coordinator or similar
• Typically 1-3 years' experience in a quality-focused role
• Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience investigating product or process quality issues
• Exposure to CAPA, root cause analysis or corrective action activities
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Engineering, manufacturing or quality-related qualification preferred

LOCATION:

Ideally based in Cork City, Macroom, Ballincollig, Bandon, Clonakilty, Dunmanway or Killarney, but open to candidates within a reasonable commute of the facility in West Cork.
