THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established mechanical services contractor delivering projects and maintenance solutions across commercial, industrial, healthcare and public sector environments throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Technical Mechanical Manager to strengthen their operations team and support the delivery of a growing portfolio of projects.
THE ROLE:
The successful Technical Mechanical Manager will act as a key link between clients, project teams and senior management, ensuring projects are planned, managed and delivered successfully.
This is a highly visible role requiring both strong technical knowledge and excellent people skills. You will oversee project delivery activities, support estimating and costing exercises, provide technical guidance and ensure customer expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing technical support across mechanical services projects
• Managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Reviewing project specifications, drawings and technical requirements
• Supporting project planning and delivery activities
• Assisting with project costing, estimating and commercial reviews
• Conducting site visits and project progress reviews
• Supporting project managers and site teams with technical guidance
• Identifying project risks and proposing solutions
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and programme requirements
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery
• Acting as a technical escalation point for customers and internal teams
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within mechanical building services, HVAC, plumbing, facilities management or mechanical contracting environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualified Plumber or Mechanical Trade background
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Foreman, Site Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of mechanical services installations and project delivery
• Experience managing customer and stakeholder relationships
• Commercial awareness and experience supporting project costing or estimating activities
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Full driving licence
THE PACKAGE:
• Base Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 DOE

LOCATION:
Ideally based in Dublin, but open to candidates located throughout Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.
